Born in Everett, WA. On the evening of Oct 1, 2016, Tom Passed Away at Regional Hospital, Spartanburg, SC from complications due to Cancer.
Tom joined the Army at the age of 17 and made a career in the Military for over 20 yrs.
Tom retired from the US Army as an Officer, he was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War and served his Country with Honor throughout his career in the Military.
Upon retiring from the Military Tom went back to college, he earned a degree in Computer Science and went on to teach as an Adjunct Professor at Mat-Su Community College. He also worked in the IS Dept. at Valley Hospital in Palmer Alaska for 15 yrs. Tom loved God, Family, Friends, Life , Golf and Country.
Tom is survived by his wife Pamela, daughter Denice and her husband Todd and 2 grandchildren Colton and Brittany.
Tom will be missed terribly by Family and Friends. Per Tom’s wishes, He will be cremated. No funeral services will be held, Tom wishes to be remembered for his journey through life.
On a personal note, I would like to ‘Thank’ all the family members that helped and supported Tom and I through this hard time in our lives. A special Thanks to my brother Charlie and his wife Wendy for their support and love through the last days of Tom’s life on this earth; I do not know how I could have made it without you. I will miss you terribly Daddy! Please take care of my Love God.

  1. Tom is my dad. I’d like to thank those who shared laughs with him and those who said prayers for him. He thought highly of golf friends.


    1. And they thought a lot of him. My brother is Jim Cornell. He’s been very upset by your Dads passing. I went to high school with your Mom. I’m very sooty for all of you. Just lost my husband Burr in Jan and it’s not easy. Best to all of you. Mary Ann Cornell
